Barbiepedia's BP Cardverse Game

BP Cardverse is a different game, it does not require prior knowledge about Bartbie but it does require you to learn a little about how it works in order to play. The game is based on getting envelopes / cards and collecting them. You can collect as many as you can or create your own collection by recycling the cards you don't like or simply don't want to have.

Cards can have different types of rarity quality, with common being the lowest and Mythic the highest. The rarity quality scale is:

  • Common.
  • Uncommon.
  • Rare.
  • Epic.
  • Legendary.
  • Mythical.

Getting a common card is most common, getting a card of a higher rarity quality by opening a booster pack is less likely. The higher your rarity quality, the lower your drop chance. That is, a common card will appear the vast majority of the time, an uncommon card will appear less often, a rare card will appear with an even lower percentage and the percentage drops the higher the quality of the card.

There are cards that will only be available for a limited time, these types of cards are known as temporary. These letters have a start date and end date. These types of cards may or may not appear when opening packs and may or may not be available in the Fashion Shop.

The qualities of rarities are differentiated by the color of the card:

  • Common = Pink.
  • Uncommon = Reddish.
  • Rare = Blue rose.
  • Epic = Lilac pink.
  • Legendary = Purple.
  • Mythical = Black.

Each card of each rarity quality has two versions, the normal one and the Shiny one. The Shiny is the special and most exclusive version. A normal card and a Shiny card are differentiated by the color of the lower part of the card and by the shine. The normal card always has the same bottom colors, however, the Shiny has a different color for each rarity quality. Obtaining a Shiny card is not easy, the probability of it appearing in a pack is very low.

The cards can represent Barbie Dolls, Barbie Playset or Dolls with Barbie Playset. The cards that are only playsets have different decorations and attributes.

Cards have levels and attributes. There are a total of four attributes. The attributes are:

  • Attribute 1 = Fashion.
  • Attribute 2 = Glamour.
  • Attribute 3 = Trend.
  • Attribute 4 = Chic.
  • Attribute 5 = Luxury.

Cards that represent dolls or dolls with a playset have Attributes 1 and 2. The cards that represent playset have Attribute 3 and 4.

The Luxury attribute varies depending on the rarity of the card that represents dolls or dolls and playset:

  • Common = 0 luxury.
  • Uncommon = 1 luxury.
  • Rare = 2 luxury.
  • Epic = 3 luxury.
  • Legendary = 4 luxury.
  • Mythical = 5 luxury
  • Temporary = 6 luxury

That is, a common card has no Luxury, but an epic card always has 3 Luxury.

The Chic attribute varies depending on the rarity of the card that represents only a playset:

  • Common = 0 Chic.
  • Uncommon = 1 Chic.
  • Rare = 2 Chic.
  • Epic = 3 Chic.
  • Legendary = 4 Chic.
  • Mythical = 5 Chic
  • Temporary = 6 Chic

That is, a common card has no Chic, but an epic card always has 3 Chic.

Currently, the cards are only collectible, if the game is well received, I will probably develop it further!

Cards, with the exception of playset cards, can be leveled up by spending BP points. Each card indicates the amount of points needed to level up. To level up you just have to access the card details and press the level up button. Points will be deducted automatically. If you don't have points, you won't be able to level up the card.

All cards can be recycled earning BP points. Each card indicates the number of points that will be earned by recycling the card. When you recycle the letter, it will disappear forever and cannot be recovered again. To recycle the letter you just have to access the letter details and press the recycle letter button. Points will be added automatically. If you don't have points, you can recycle the letter.

Cards can be obtained in several ways:

  • In envelopes.
  • Purchasing them in the Fashion Shop.
  • As a reward in games or Achievements.
  • As a reward for raffles or contests on social networks.

Other ways to get more boosters and/or BP points are currently being implemented.

Envelopes can contain 1 to 3 cards. Usually, the envelopes will have 1 card, the percentage is 77% out of 100, the percentage that the envelope has 2 cards is lower, it is 20% out of 100. The percentage of having 3 cards is even lower, it is 3% out of 100. This does not mean that you never get an envelope with 3 cards, this is mathematics and they come out, which in the testing have come up more than expected.

You can obtain envelopes in many ways, for example as a reward for completing achievements.

You can also purchase unlimited packs in the Fashion Shop by exchanging them for BP points. Cards that are available in the Fashion Shop will most likely be temporary and have a limited total quantity available and there will likely be a purchase limitation per user. Typically, the user can only acquire one of each card.
