At the time, Louboutin designed the bought the first pair of shoes for the famous doll and was asked about it. According to information from the British newspaper The Guardian, the designer later clarified that he was only thinking about the technical aspects of shoemaking.
"Barbie's foot has always had a less curved shape than the rest of her perfect body," he said. Louboutin. "I just added my little science to Barbie, and I'm proud to work for her. Christian commented that Barbie could have thinner ankles. That's all," he concluded the designer.
