Barbie and McDonald's

In the 1990s, Barbie and the fast food chain McDonald's jointly launched a series of miniature Barbie dolls that McDonald's offered as gifts for its Happy Meal children's menu.

Since that time, both entities have launched various collections over the years.

Happy Meals every fall (around September) gave away a series made up of four different dolls. In some restaurants in some countries, such as the Swedes, you could purchase gifts by purchasing them directly. In Spain this did not happen, they have always been an indivisible part of the children's menu.
