Synopsis

Mariposa and her furry friend Zee return in 'Barbie Mariposa and the Fairy Princess'. In this magical adventure, Butterfly becomes the royal Ambassador of Flutterfield and has as her mission to bring peace between her enchanted country and her rivals, the Fairies of Shimmervale Crystal. And although Butterfly doesn't make a great impression on the King, she quickly befriends her daughter, the shy Princess Catania. However, a misunderstanding causes Mariposa to be expelled from the place. When Mariposa and Zee return to Flutterfield, they find that an evil fairy wants to destroy Shimmervale.

Mariposa is a fairy much admired and loved throughout Flutterfield because between her and her friends they managed to save the queen of death and all the fairies from being devoured by fearsome monsters that lurk at night.
