Arabic horoscope

The Arabic horoscope is divided into 12 signs, since the Sumerians, famous for being the inventors of astronomy, considered the solar system as a set of 12 planets. The first studies and predictions engraved in stone were found in Sumeria, south of Mesopotamia. The Sumerian stone tablets are possibly the oldest vestiges of writing, dating back to approximately 3,500 BC.

Each sign is represented by a weapon, which allows each man or woman to have a combat weapon designated from the moment of their birth, to accompany and guide them on the hard path of their earthly life and This would help him know how to use his ability both to know himself and to defend himself against his own shortcomings.

The weapon attributed to us at the moment of birth has a talismanic and symbolic value not only in our personality but also in our attitude towards life, directly related to the specific characteristics of that weapon that we were given: hardness, precision , scope, etc. Although, for example, in 'our' horoscope the 12 signs are divided into the four elements (water, air, earth and fire), in the Arab horoscope the 12 weapons are divided into three groups: short weapons, medium weapons and weapons of long reach::

  • Short weapons: knife, machete, cutlass and dagger. And they describe themselves as serious, sensible, wise and far-sighted people who like to have their feet on the ground and achieve their goals, which they generally achieve successfully.
  • Medium weapons: mace, club, ax and chain. It is believed that they are judicious, hard-working and efficient people, although risk is not their thing and they prefer to adapt to what they have.
  • Long weapons: sword, spear, sling and bow. They are people who like to dominate and influence others. They are active and impatient and almost always get what they want... Even if their methods are not the most ideal.

As in the Western horoscope and others, Arabic astrology also divides its horoscope between 12 signs. Each one is represented by a weapon, which indicates how to use its capacity, design or objective to know ourselves and to defend ourselves from any challenge in our life:

  1. Dagger (March 21 to April 20). It is an intimidating and very fast weapon. Therefore, the natives of the dagger are pure liveliness. It is the sign of pioneers and people who take risks for an ideal even if they usually do so at the wrong time.
  2. Nail (April 21 to May 21). It is a weapon to gain respect, not to attack, and it gives its natives a realistic character, somewhat passive, hard-working, possessive in love, and calm. Although when they get angry they run over everything in their path.
  3. Mace (May 22 to June 22). It is a versatile and defensive weapon that is used to counterattack. Natives of this sign are born and very organized strategists. They boast of being individualists but, deep down, they suffer if they are ignored.
  4. Knife (June 23 to July 22). It is a kitchen utensil but it can cause great damage when used as a weapon. Those of this sign tend to protect themselves excessively because they fear that others will use them for their own purposes.
  5. Cutlass (July 23 to August 23). It is the Arab weapon par excellence and the most used in war (only nobles had the right to carry it). The Cutlasses are dedicated to friendship and love and are excellent strategists. Be careful: you can be blinded by flattery.
  6. Machete (August 24 to September 23). The same goes for war as for opening roads. It is an auxiliary weapon that gives those of its sign a perfectionist and creative character, always willing to help. They need to live for an ideal.
  7. Chain (September 24 to October 23). The separate links are nothing... But united they form a weapon that attacks and imprisons. The noble feelings and united personalities of the Cadena family make them perfect defenders of the weakest.
  8. Gumia (October 24 to November 22). Its edge is sinuous and sharp and its cuts are usually deep. It is a weapon to attack with force. Its natives are always passionate and not very rational. His nobility of heart is beyond doubt.
  9. Bow (November 23 to December 22). This weapon is strained with effort to go further and further. Those of their sign are willing to do anything, even risking their lives. They are bold, sincere, difficult to handle and cover more than they can.
  10. Lance (December 23 to January 20). It is a weapon of intermediate and open spaces, which teaches its natives to keep their distance. Not very sociable, they do not like closed places full of people. They have a great extrasensory capacity.
  11. Slingshot (January 21 to February 19). More than a weapon of war, it is a hunting element. On the surface it seems harmless but, with the right strength, it is fearsome. The Honda is bold but it measures the risk well, it knows how to be ingenious and it exploits it.
  12. Axe (February 20 to March 20). It is a tool, a weapon of war and an instrument to do justice. With the Hacha there are no half measures: either they are all diplomacy or they spend the day arguing. They are very sensitive and excellent friends and lovers.
