FAQ: My lists

A list is a section of the website where you can store all the items that interest you according to the criteria of each list.

BarbiePedia lists are used so that users can save any type of product found in the BarbiePedia catalog. So, for example, people who have a wish list will be able to buy them later, they will be able to share the lists at Christmas so that people can give them their desired dolls and playsets, etc. Also, through the collection lists, you can control the collection of dolls and playsets so as not to buy duplicates, because yes, this has happened to many of us more than once... And of course, have a list of favorites to be able to make decisions later.

In BarbiePedia you can find different types of lists to be able to organize yourself better.

Each list is designed to have a different use.

There are different lists, general ones and temporary ones. The general lists are those that are always active. Temporary lists are lists that are active for a period of time and then disappear.

General lists:

• Your collection
This list is very useful, it allows you to store all the items you own, if you share this list everyone will be able to know which ones you have and This way you will avoid being given things you already have!
• Your Favorites
This list will probably be the most extensive, it is designed so that you can access all your favorites, all the ones you like, whether you want to own them or not. Imagine having a place where all the dolls and accessories there are fabulous for you!
• Your wishes
The best way to prevent you from buying things that are not really essential in your display case and that end up being stored in a box. That's what this fabulous list is for, a wish list of what you really want to have. This will help you not accumulate without rhyme or reason.
You could say that the wish list is a step behind the final purchase, simply a list of the items that you discover. and that you prefer to keep in the bedroom until the moment you decide to buy them.

You can repeat the same doll, clothes, playset, etc. in any list. That is, you can have a Barbie in the "Your collection" list and also in the "Your favorites" list, or in the "Your wishes" list, You can work with the glosses as you wish, but remember that you cannot change the name and there are only three lists.

Temporary lists:

• Christmas
This list is exclusive for the Christmas period, It allows you to create a Christmas wish list so that the people you share it with can see what you want to receive for Christmas and they will surely get it right!
• Birthday
Soon! The date of birth field has been added to the user profile to be able to develop this section.

The LISTS section is linked to each BarbiePedia user, in this section you can create your own lists as you wish. From this section you can view everything you have previously saved in your lists and you can also eliminate them from these.

To have your own lists, all you have to do is register on BarbiePedia and log in with your account. Then you must go to the Barbie catalog. There you will find all the dolls, playsets and many other items that make up the BarbiePedia catalog database.

To add them to the lists you can do it in two ways:

• Below each item is the phrase "Add to list:" followed by 3 icons. Each icon automatically adds the doll to the corresponding list.
• When you access each item, above the Attributes and characteristics section you find the phrase: "Add to:" and are followed by 3 icons. Each icon automatically adds the doll to the corresponding list.

To know what each icon corresponds to, hover the mouse pointer and the legend will appear.

• Corresponds to the FAVORITES list
• Corresponds to the COLLECTION list
• Corresponds to the WISH list
• Corresponds to the CHRISTMAS list

To find your lists you can do it in 3 different ways:

• Accessing your user's section, you can find a menu and you can access your lists.
• In the top right menu you will find a direct link to your lists.

Remember that you must be logged in to the website to access the My List section.

To be able to share your lists you have to access the list you want to share and you will find a link at the top, this link you can share with whoever you want.

The lists have a unique link for each list and for each user, so if you share your list, it will always be available.

The lists will ALWAYS be PUBLIC. If you don't want anyone to have the link, don't share them. Work is being done so that in the near future the lists can be public or private.

The lists can only be accessed through the link and this link is only visible if a user shares it.
