An Avatar is a graphic image that represents an exclusive character created by BarbiePedia inspired by the Barbie universe. Avatars are available exclusively to registered BarbiePedia users. When you register on BarbiePedia, complete the Achievement "" you have a single Avatar and you will not be able to change it until you get more avatars.

Most Avatars are obtained by completing Achievements. All Avatars specify how they can be obtained.

There are different types of Avatars:

  • Common Avatars: These are the most common achievements, the most basic, which every registered and logged-in user will be able to access and complete.
  • Temporary Avatars: These are Avatars that will only be available to obtain during a certain period of time.
  • Special Avatars: They are the most coveted and coolest Avatars, obtaining them usually requires completing complex Achievements.
  • Surprise Avatars: They are surprise Avatars and cannot be specified further or they will no longer be a surprise.
  • Referred Avatars: These are exclusive Avatars that can only be obtained through an affiliate link.
Each Avatar is unique and has its own requirements to be able to achieve it.

Completing an Achievement can give you more than one reward, there are Achievements with great rewards. On your Avatars page of your account you will find the avatars listed according to:

  • Achieved: It will only show the Avatars that you have achieved.
  • Blocked: It will only show the Avatars that you have not yet obtained.
  • By Claimed: It will only show the Avatars that you have not yet claimed.

There are Avatars that are easy to obtain, such as Avatars that are common Achievement rewards. These types of Avatars are designed so that the majority of users can easily obtain them.

Avatars that are subject to Meritorious Achievements, such as competitive Achievements, are much more detailed Avatars with more striking designs.

Each Avatar has its own description where it will tell you:

  • Status (achieved or not achieved).
  • If you can assign it.
  • If you have not achieved it, it will link to the page where it will inform you how you can get it.

Remember that you must be logged in to the website to access the Avatars section.

Currently it is not possible to share a list with all the Avatars obtained, what you can do is assign yourself the one you like the most and share a Wish List, Favorites List or My Collection List so everyone can see the coolest Avatar from your collection.
