An updated version of Barbie® Baby-sits #959 featured the same blonde haired, blue-eyed baby! (The doll in this set had a slightly brighter coloring of the face and hair. ) The baby was dressed in a diaper and two extras were provided. The other accessories included were: a pink dotted white flannel sacque with blue edging, pink plastic bassinet with a lace trimmed floral nylon liner, a pink pillow with lace edging, blue variegated flannel blanket with blue edging, and a nursing bottle (white plastic with mustard color nipple. ) The components that were available only in this set included a pink brushed tricot bunting with grosgrain ties, a white christening gown with eyelet embroidery and a matching bonnet with grosgrain ties, a blue "Barbie's Baby Sitter's Manual, " and a formula recipe card.
