In the Sears 1966 Christmas catalog, the term "tickled pink" was used to describe Barbie® doll's glorious pink formal. The owner of this set should be just as tickled, as this outfit is hard to find! The soft pink satin skirt had pink tulle ruffles at the hem that rose in the back to meet the separate top. The sleeveless bodice with scoop neck was attached to an overskirt, which came to a "V" in front and rose in the back. There was a silver glitter design on the overskirt. A marabou boa in pink and clear shoes with silver glitter completed the beautiful and desirable evening ensemble.
