Become a true fashion designer with the Barbie light table. You can create tons of different dress patterns and have fun mixing and matching them with others. You can also make fashion catalogs for different seasons and discover how to be fashionable for every occasion!

First, select the card that features Barbie and her friends. Place it on the nightstand and turn it on. If you place a white sheet of paper on the map, you can easily trace the outlines of the shapes. Hold the sheet of paper steady while you outline one of the shapes with a pencil. When you're done, color it in and you'll have a model ready to dress up! Repeat the process each time you need a new model (1).

In the box you will find clothes for the card models, grouped by type: pants, skirts, scarves, dresses, jackets, sweaters and, finally, accessories. To make your fashion creations, place the card with the garment you have chosen on the light table and, just as you did with the pattern, place a blank sheet of paper on top of the card and outline the shape. When you're done, color it and cut it out. You can personalize different clothes using colored markers and creating creative decorations for them (2).

Now you are ready to dress your model. Put a little glue on the back of the garment you colored, cut it out and press it against the figure.

You can also use the decorated cards as fabrics! Draw on them using the templates: the cardboard cards with the perforated clothing patterns. Place the template with the garment you have chosen directly on the decorated paper and follow the perforated outline with the pencil. Cut out the shape and you will have a new garment ready to glue to the pattern.

Now that you are an expert in fashion design, organize your projects in the two folders and show them to your friends, exchanging tips on the latest fashion trends (4).

In the set you will find everything you need to become an official Barbie designer! Not only will you learn to draw with this light table, but you can also create a fashion collection for your Barbie. Simply rotate the table and follow the contour of the cards to create creative combinations embellished with decorated cards, stencils and crystals.
