Barbie® doll arrived on the job well prepared for a long evening with black-rimmed reading glasses and a cute coral and white striped babysitter's apron. Just in case hunger strikes, Barbie® doll had a bottle of soda and a box of Mattel pretzels (empty) on hand! She kept her list of phone numbers near the white plastic telephone. The fully jointed baby wore a white flannel diaper with a safety pin. An extra diaper was included as well as a pink dotted flannel sacque with blue trim. Baby's bassinet of pale pink woven-look plastic was lined with a removable floral print lace-edged liner and a lace-edged pink pillow. Baby took a bottle (white plastic with amber nipple) and went to dreamland covered with a blue striped, braid-edged flannel blanket. Barbie® doll checked the brass alarm clock and saw she had a couple of hours for reading. Her three books were neatly held with a black plastic strap. Her subjects were: How to Lose Weight, How to Get a Raise, and How to Travel.
