Barbie® doll couldn't wait to take her vacation cruise! She poured over her three travel brochures for these destinations: Hawaii, Mexico and Niagara Falls. She read her "How To Travel" book from cover to cover and hung her travel poster in her room to inspire dreams of faraway places. When the day finally arrived to board the ship, Barbie® doll wore a nautical red, white and blue dress. The top was of a striped knit with a navy pleated skirt. The long navy vest had a red lining, golden buttons, and middy collar with white star detailing. A red plastic shiny belt and red closed-toe pumps completed her look. She loaded her camera (black plastic with gray painted trim) and started collecting memories to bring home. (Skipper® doll had a matching outfit—Ship Ahoy #1918. )
