Scale reductions
To change scale with photocopier or scanner, instead of using a scale rule and a calculator it will be better to use a spreadsheet. To use that table you just have to locate the scale of the planes that we have in the first column on the left, then follow through the row of the upper part until you find the scale that is needed. The place where the row and the column are intended to show the percentage necessary to reduce or expand the plane.
Examples of scale reductions
- go from 1/35 to 1/48 multiplying by 0.73
- go from 1/35 to 1/76 multiplying by 0.46
- go from 1/35 to 1/72 multiplying by 0.49
- go from 1/35 to 1/87 multiplying by 0.40
- go from 1/48 to 1/76 multiplying by 0.63
- go from 1/48 to 1/72 multiplying by 0.66
- go from 1/48 to 1/87 multiplying by 0.55
- go from 1/72 to 1/76 multiplying by 0.95
- go from 1/72 to 1/87 multiplying by 0.83
