Scale

The scale of a model or miniature is what determines the smaller times the miniature in relation to the real model, this means that a real -size model would be a 1/1 scale model (one must read "one in one"). The right number expresses how many times the model is needed, one after the other, or one on the other, to get the length or real high of the original model. That is, according to this scale, 1 model is needed to have 1 real size model.

Example: If the scale were 1/43 ("one in forty -three"), it should be interpreted that 43 miniatures of the model are needed, one behind the other, or one above the other, to achieve the length or Real model height. Always remember that, the smaller the scale of the miniature, the greater the size of it. That is, a 1:24 scale miniature is much larger than a 1:87 scale miniature
